Dr. Kularathna stated that, there are numerous hospitals in Sri Lanka as well as throughout the world where various forms of surgeries and invasive procedures are increasingly performed to treat illnesses with surgical and invasive forms of treatment becoming very much commonplace, and in this context, if serious illnesses could successfully be treated without resorting to invasive and surgical procedures to cure them would pose a real challenge.
